Micro-Steel Caustic Recovery

Chemical recovery systems (CRS) made of stainless steel are designed to treat spent CIP solutions. The system will remove fats, proteins, and suspended solids from caustic CIP solutions with a causticity of .05-10%. The system will also remove suspended solids from the acid CIP solutions. This eliminates the need to constantly replace caustic and acid CIP solutions. Recovered solutions will have approximately the same pH and chemical strengths as the original solutions

The system is designed to recirculate solutions from the spent chemical tank through the system and back into the spent chemical tank. Cleaned chemical, which will permeate the membrane, will be directed to a clean chemical storage tank. The system automatically back pulses at optimum intervals to maintain permeate flows. A daily CIP will restore the system to design performance specifications. Settled solids are decanted prior to processing a solution.
